OER Project and the History and Social Science Standards for Middle School

  • Wed, Jun 23 2021 - Wed, Jun 23 2021  • Virtual
  • Middle School Social Studies

Want to find engaging resources to teach world history for middle school?

OER Project has engaging and interactive resources that are aligned with the 2018 History and Social Science standards for 6th and 7th grade.

In this webinar we will provide tips, guidance and resources for planning, navigating and connecting 13.8 billion years of history.  We’ll look at the emphasis on skills that progress and spiral and how our planning resources and activities build student reading, writing, critical thinking and more essential skills throughout the year. OER Project is full of scaffolds and tools to meet students where they are. We’ll make sure you know where to find them and how to use them.

Participants will gain interactive content, tools and course plans to help them successfully incorporate their learnings in the classroom.
