It's Elementary, My Dear: Strategies to Support Social Studies and ELA Instruction

This session, designed for elementary school teachers, focuses on the intersection between ELA and Social Studies instruction. Join us as we explore resources and strategies to reinforce the same skills and processes found in the AZ ELA standards and the AZ HSS Standards. You’ll walk away with new ways to encourage students to engage in the inquiry process by asking questions, researching, carrying out investigations, and building evidence to support ideas about the natural world around them.
