NEW: OIE webpage updates
The Office of Indian Education has updated key web pages to help users find relevant and important information. The three new pages include:
- Arizona’s Federally Recognized Tribes: Dedicated to the 22 federally recognized tribes. Each Tribal Nation has its own section with general information and resources specific to that Tribe.
- OIE Resources: General information regarding Native American language teacher certification, culturally responsive classrooms and schools, resources for Native American students, and national and local organizations that serve Indigenous students and communities.
- About the Arizona Department of Education: Information about the Department, education governance in Arizona, frequently accessed programs and job opportunities at ADE.

Tohono O'odham Community College: Free Tuition for all Native American students for the 2021 Fall Semester
Tohono O'odham Community College is excited to announce that we will continue our Free Tuition for all Native American students for the 2021 Fall Semester! All students will be required to provide proof of tribal enrollment to be eligible for free tuition. Non-Native Students can enroll at our lowest tuition rate of $34.25 per credit hour in the state of Arizona. All Students will also be responsible for the cost of books and fees. Apply and Register for the Fall Semester now, before classes fill up.
