New Guidance on 21st Century Community Learning Centers
Last week, the U.S. Department of Education USDOE granted a waiver to Arizona's Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant (21st CCLC) program which will allow 21st CCLC programs to provide supplemental activities when school is in session but students are not receiving in-person instruction, such as providing additional academic supports during distance learning. To help sub-grantees who run 21st CLCC programs understand this new waiver, ADE’s 21st CCLC specialists will offer a Lunch & Learn virtual meeting soon to unpack the waiver, to gather and respond to any remaining questions you may have about the waiver and operating under the waiver.
