The Office of Digital Teaching and Learning facilitates Rural and Tribal Technology Roundtables. This concept was suggested by an Arizona K-12 school IT director and brought to life in partnership with other school districts. The goals of the roundtables are:
Build a user group of tribal and rural IT leaders
Foster connections between forum participants to learn, share and educate IT best practices
Create opportunities to maximize and leverage resources
Enable and inspire IT leaders to implement solutions
Topics include:
Educational IT challenges and methods to improve and enhance existing technologies
Identify and showcase evolving technologies in use among LEAs
The future of K-12 IT
Dates: Monthly meetings.
Time: 1:00 pm-2:30pm MST
Format: This hybrid roundtable will have an in-person option (space is limited).
Advanced registration required: please sign up to attend below. Attendance is open to K-12 IT staff, superintendents, and principals.
