In 1990 Congress passed into law this civil right which made it illegal to discriminate against those with disabilities in areas that include but are not limited to transportation, employment, access to government services, and public accommodations.

SUMMER LEARNING-SCHOOL SHOWCASE
Summer Enrichment at Creighton elementary school
Summer Enrichment is in full swing at the Creighton Academy. Students are getting crafty, creating sensory bottles, bracelets, and other projects they plan to sell at a student-led upcoming, on-campus craft fair. Students are also working on literacy with word games, researching animals with iPads, and creating flip charts. Our teachers are bringing Adventurous Learning to a whole new level.
Champion Schools South Mountain
The Summer Camp Program hosted at Champion Schools South Mountain is FREE and open to the community, providing a one-of-a-kind experience for students. Champion scholars and new students from the community have the opportunity to experience academic enrichment through engaging hands-on learning experiences to promote curiosity and, most importantly, a love of learning. Our unique classes, such as Shark Week, Robotics, and CSI Camp, among many others, take learning beyond the classroom and give students the knowledge they can take anywhere in the world.
Located in the heart of South Phoenix, Champion Schools is a public charter school that has grown over the last 11 years to be a staple in the community. Families from all over the valley come to experience our distinctive approach to learning through the power of athletics. Champion Schools is THE place to not only participate in rigorous academic endeavors to promote student knowledge but also build students' athletic capabilities to redefine the term "student-athlete." Our core pillars Heart, Courage, Determination, Teamwork, Discipline, Persistence, Effort, Hard work, Sacrifice, and Passion, develop our scholars' character to help them become leaders within their school and community who are committed to a growth mindset and strive for excellence. Champion Schools South Mountain is more than just a charter school, it's a place that families call home.
