Face coverings are required in all district and charter schools.
On November 19, 2020, Dr. Christ issued an Emergency Order requiring district and charter schools to immediately mandate that masks are worn on school campuses, on school buses and during school-associated activities by all students, faculty, staff, contractors, and visitors.
Learning Model Tracker
Per Executive Order 2020-51, the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) created public health criteria to be used by schools to determine when it is safe to reopen for traditional in-person classroom instruction. You can find these metrics here.
The following School Learning Models are self-reported by County Superintendents and individual charter operators to the Arizona Department of Education and were last updated on December 1, 2020.
