SEI Overview for Classroom Teachers Webinar: SY2020-2021

Intended for K-12 Teachers and Instructional Coaches, this FREE webinar will introduce educators to Arizona’s Language Development Approach (AZ LDA) and the State Board approved SEI models for School Year 2020-2021. Participants will learn how each of the four principles outlined in the AZ LDA (Asset Based Behaviors and Expectations; Integrated Instruction in Disciplinary Language and Content; Targeted and Explicit Language Instruction and Assessment; Monitoring and Feedback) are key components included in each model. Participants will engage in whole group learning, focused on disseminating information and viewing examples of classroom settings and instruction, and in small breakout groups focused on discussions and making classroom connections throughout the webinar.
