The Practitioners of English Language Learning (PELL) Meeting Virtual Event is an opportunity for district and site level Administrators, EL Coordinators, or Directors involved in the implementation and oversight of programs for English learners (ELs) in Arizona. This FREE virtual event will take place over the course of a week and registration in EMS (Event Management System) is required to attend.
Day One (May 4, 2020) includes a live General Session for the dissemination of timely information relevant to EL education. General Session will be offered at three different times; interested participants need only register for one of the three time slots.
Please note: Registration in EMS is required to attend this FREE event. The link to join the General Session will be sent to all registered attendees via email on Monday, May 4, 2020 by 8:30am. Please watch your email on the morning of the PELL Meeting for the link to join.
Days Two through Four (May 5-7, 2020) provide an opportunity to attend self-paced, pre-recorded online breakout session modules on topics such as:
- High Level Overview of the SEI Models & Inclusion of Targeted and Integrated Instruction
- SEI Budget & Title III
- Compliance & Updated Forms
Day Five (May 8, 2020) allows registered attendees the chance to attend Office Hours with their Regional Specialist to ask questions and receive support specific to their LEA’s needs.
