CACFP 6th Annual 2020 Mandatory Renewal: Mealtime Heroes – Aspire to Inspire

  • Thu, Sep 5 2019 - Thu, Sep 5 2019  •

This year’s CACFP Renewal Summit will provide you with the knowledge necessary to implement and document compliance with crediting grains using ounce equivalents (oz eq) instead of “servings” for the grain component. There will also be a review of available USDA resources for crediting grains. ADE staff will conduct a train the trainer breakout session to model “How to Train your CACFP Staff” utilizing valuable resources and materials developed by ADE. Important updates will be available to assist you in submitting an accurate Management Plan and Budget, and a “Did You Know” facts and trivia session will be held to improve your CACFP knowledge and program operations.

This training is geared for your organization’s CACFP administrators. Please register no more than 2 staff members per sponsor. Lunch will be provided.

ADE has secured a block of 60 rooms at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort at a rate of $121.00 per night plus tax. Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. We cannot guarantee this rate for rooms reserved outside of the room block. Therefore, attendees are encouraged to make their accommodations as soon as possible. Reservations may be made online here or by calling 1-800-446-6677 and asking for the room block under the Arizona Department of Education.
