Allies for Childhood Hunger Solutions

  • Wed, Apr 10 2019 - Wed, Apr 10 2019  •

One in every four children in Arizona struggles with hunger. Child Nutrition Programs are the first line of defense against childhood hunger, but no one program can solve this problem alone. At this event, we will explore how to make your district a School Nutrition Hub to fight childhood hunger. A panel of community partners will provide insight and resources on initiatives beyond traditional child nutrition programs. We encourage you to come with an "ally" from your district such as a principal, teacher, school counselor or involved parent to help you walk away with an action plan and parner for reducing childhood hunger in your district.
