Dear Arts Education Community,
Congratulations as you wrap up what surely has been another challenging school year. Thank you for all you've done to keep arts education alive for students. We know creativity & self expression are the heart of our school communities and students' memories as we wrap up the 2020-2021 school year.
In this Newsletter, we are excited to celebrate this year's Arts Seal Graduates, the transition of our Arts Education Specialist to the Classroom, and the new Arizona Academic Standards in the Arts & the inclusion of the SEL Competencies. We also share the newest opportunities including a call for nominees for a new award from Act One for a K-12 educator who exemplifies excellence in Arts Education. The award will be given during Arts in Education Week and we can't see which one of our deserving educators receives it.
