Celebrating JO Combs' New Performing Arts Center

March & Youth Arts Month encompasses the celebration of Theatre in Our Schools. As part of this celebration we are thrilled to share a the story of an Arizona community's success supporting the performing arts in their school.

We want to congratulate JO Combs High School on the opening of the Combs Performing Arts Center late January.

Thanks to bond dollars voted on by taxpayers within the J.O. Combs Unified School District in 2016, Combs High School was able to build San Tan Valley's first professional Theatre space in the JO Combs School District.

According to the San Tan Valley Times "The new Performing Arts Center was designed for maximum functionality for students, educators, and audience members, accommodating 500 people. To serve area arts education programs and the broader San Tan community, the Center is being used as a hands-on teaching space for the school’s Stagecraft and Fine Arts programs and is acoustically balanced for both amplified sound and live performances."

Congratulations JO Combs on opening this beautiful new space to support arts education and the arts in your community. Read the full article here: https://santantimes.com/combs-high-school-new-performing-arts-center/
