Careers with ADE

Come work with us to serve Arizona's students, educators, and families!

The Arizona Department of Education is an Equal Opportunity Employer. During all phases of the selection process, people with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter, by contacting the ADE Human Resources office at (602) 542-3186 or via e-mail at [email protected].

To gain employment with an Arizona school or district, you will work directly with those districts in which you are interested.  The Arizona Department of Education has no involvement in hiring at the school/district level. To learn of possible district opportunities, please contact the desired district directly or visit the Arizona Education Employment Board online.

Non-State Employee Applicants

Those applicants not currently working for a State of Arizona agency can view and apply for ADE job openings by visiting the Arizona State Jobs website. To view a list of available opportunities at ADE, select the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION from the Agency dropdown field and click Search.

Please ensure that you meet the requirements of the desired position before applying.

State Employee Applicants

Applicants who are currently employed by a State of Arizona agency are required to access job opportunities through the State of Arizona's Human Resources Division portal. Note: Use Internet Explorer to access the system.

State of Arizona Talent Management Portal

The most direct way to access job listings is by directly logging into the State of Arizona Talent Management Portal using the same username and password you use to enter the YES system.

You can also log into the Your Employee Services (YES) website and then click on "Search for Jobs" under the Your Employee Services menu. This will take you to the Talent Management Portal login page, where you will need to enter your credentials again.

Once you are in the MAP/Talent Management system, click on "Opportunities" in the navigation menu to find and apply for jobs. To search for openings specific to ADE, select the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION from the agency drop-down list.  The EDU keyword search no longer works.

Please contact the YES help desk at (602) 542-4700 or email if you need additional help using the system.
