Arizona Department of Education (ADE) is the Arizona Thinkfinity State Education Partner. ADE is working to align Thinkfinity resources to Arizona Content Standards to be available through IDEAL's Learning Resource Manager. Thinkfinity.org is a free comprehensive digital learning platform that provides high-quality, standards-based educational resources for K-12 educators, students, parents, and after scholl providers. Thinkfinity is a collaborative project between several national and international educational institutions and the Verizon Foundation. There are two major aspects to this project: a free Web site that provides educational materials and a free training program that is implemented locally by state-based partners.

Training is available for teachers and technology trainers who are interested in learning how to effectively incorporate the Internet into their teaching. The ADE, through the Statewide Instructional Techonology (SIT) Project, provides opportunities for teachers and trainers, funded through the Enhancing Education through Technology Grant. ADE/IDEAL is working to align Thinkfinity resources to Arizona Content Standards to be available through IDEAL's Learning Resource Manager. Science lessons will be the first to be aligned to the Arizona State Standards. For more information about the alignment project contact Tammy Hernandez.
