Social Studies Standards Revision July Update

On July 17, the Social Studies Standards Working group convened to continue the process of revising the Arizona Social Studies Standards. A total of 46 educators were invited representing 4 institutes of higher education and 23 districts/schools, including 6 charter schools. A total of 24 educators participated representing 16 districts/schools and 4 charter schools. Invitees represented 8 Arizona Counties: Coconino, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Pima, Pinal, Yavapai, and Yuma.

A total of 22 educators participated representing 15 districts/schools and 2 charter schools. Invitees represented 7 Arizona Counties: Coconino, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Pima, Pinal and Yavapai.
