| October 2, 2012 | ESS Census online application opens. If this is not available under your Common Logon account and you would like to have it added, please contact the ADE Support Center at 602.542.7378 or 866.577.9636 or enterprise@azed.gov. |
| November 16, 2012 | Verification letters due. ESS Census application resets are allowable at any time up to this date with no penalty. Resets will no longer be allowed after this date. |
| November 19, 2012 | The first SPED07 report for FY 2013 will be generated and made available to PEAs within the ESS Census application. After each successfully completed integrity run scheduled between this date and the reconciliation due date, an updated SPED07 report will be generated. |
| December 14, 2012 | Special education participation data that overlaps the October 1, 2012 due date is due in SAIS. Since this is prior to the winter break scheduled for many PEAs, it is critical that data be uploaded by this due date to ensure timely submission with ample time for corrections upon the return from winter break. |
| January 11, 2013 @ 5:00 p.m. | Reconciliation due date. All special education participation data must be submitted and integrity-error free by 5:00 p.m. After the scheduled integrity run has been successfully completed, the final October 1, 2012 Special Education Child Count will be extracted based on the data submitted by this date and time. After manual corrections (if any) are applied, ESS Data Management will post the filnal SPED07 report and make it available to PEAs within the ESS Census application. |
| April 26, 2013 | If your PEA fails to reconcile the SPED07 report with its verification letter submission, you will be required to submit at least one or more non-reconciliation reason(s) using the ESS Census application. |
