SAIS Is Open for FY2015!

SAIS is open and ready to accept your FY15 data!  What this means to you:

1) When you go into SAIS Online, SDDI, Student Detail Reports or any of the other SAIS applications, the default year in the fiscal year dropdown will be “2015″.  Select the appropriate year, as necessary, for the data you are working with.

2) FY 2014 SAIS data submission deadline passed on Monday (6/30/14) for brick and mortars.  AOI schools have until July 15 to submit their data.  AOIs, when submitting files for FY14, be sure to submit under “2014″ and not “2015″.

June Monthly Processing to Begin on June 7, 2014

Monthly processing has been delayed a day due to server issues outside of ADE’s control.  Files submitted today prior to 5:00 pm will be included in the results from this month’s monthly processing.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Issues with SAIS File Uploads

We are currently experiencing an issue with SAIS file uploads.  You may receive an error message stating “No connection with this site’s controller(s).”

We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Please check the IT Bulletin Board for updates.

May Monthly Processing Complete and ADMS40 Series Reports Available

May’s monthly processing that began on May 6, 2014 completed on May 15, 2014.  Updated 75-1 reports (ADM, SPED and ELL) are available through SDDI or Student Detail Reports, both available through Common Logon.  Also, the ADMS40 series reports (including the 46-1) and the SPED28-1 and ELLS28-1 reports are available here.

For charters, these new 40 series and SPED/ELL reports will be used to determine your June  2, 2014 state aid payment.

For questions regarding your data, please contact your account analyst.

Vehicle Inventory Is Open and Ready for Submissions

It’s that time of year again when districts are required to submit final transportation data. This includes submitting the Vehicle Inventory data and generating the TRAN40-2 report as well as re-creating the TRAN55-1 report after both Vehicle Inventory and Transportation Routes data have been finalized. Generating the reports is the responsibility of the district and if they are not re-run to reflect the most recent data, it will cause unexpected results on the APOR55-1 and unexpected funding changes. Be sure to include all applicable vehicle miles through June 30. If they are not included, a negative impact to Transportation Support Level may be seen.

DEADLINE:

The deadline for reporting of final data and generation of new reports is July 14, 2014.

Monthly Processing Not Yet Finished

We  are currently re-running portions of our monthly processing, so expect that your ADMS, ELL and SPED 75 reports to not be accurate as well as your 40 series reports, including your ADMS46-1.

We expect that the new reports will be available tomorrow.

May Aggregation Begins May 6th – Get data in today by 5pm

May’s monthly processing begins on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 and will include data submitted to SAIS through 5pm on Monday, May 5.  For those LEAs whose schools have all reached 100th day by May 5, 2014, 100th day ADM will be calculated and available by May 16, 2014.  Otherwise, 40th day ADM will be available on this date. Please check the IT Bulletin Board for updates stating the data has completed processing.  Only at that time can you check your ADMS, SPED and ELL 75 reports and expect to see complete ADM results.

For charters, the ADMS40 series reports generated this month will be the basis for your June 2, 2014 state aid disbursement.

Please keep in mind that, as reported previously, the date in which your LEA is eligible for your 40th day and 100th day ADM to be calculated has changed this year.  It is now on the day in which all of the schools within the LEA have reached the 40th day (or 100th day) of school and is subject to the aggregation processing schedule.  Please see this HOT TOPICS posting for more information.
