Call for Presentations
The U.S. Department of Education is seeking proposals for breakout sessions and has issued a Call for Presentations for the 2012 21stCentury Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Summer Institute. This years’ theme is “Gateway to the Future: Supporting the Next Generation of Learners in 21st CCLC Programs”. Selected presenters will provide workshops that demonstrate promising practices, provide technical assistance to attendees, present an exchange of ideas, and deliver new information on research-based strategies and models.
If you are interested in being a presenter at the 2012 21st CCLC Summer Institute, please go to http://www.seiservices.com/21stcentury/cfp2012.aspx to review the solicitation and submit a proposal. Proposals will be evaluated by reviewers using a rubric to assess the quality of the submission. At a minimum, proposals should demonstrate a clear connection to an institute strand and should provide new information or ideas, technical assistance, or promising practices to workshop attendees. Proposals will be accepted until Monday, February 20, 2012.
