| Description: | Advanced Coding Services train students to become certified professional medical coders for physician services. The Professional Medical Coding Curriculum (PMCC) teaches the basic coding skills and builds upon these skills through out the course. All aspects of Physician outpatient coding services are covered. Students will be able to code Physicians services provided in an office, as well as Physician surgical procedures upon the completion of the PMCC program. A certificate of completion is awarded to each that successful completes the PMCC course.
Upon completion of the course the students will sit for a National Certification exam offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders. If the student has successfully passed the Certification exam they will be credential as Certified Professional Coder (CPC). CPCs have been in high demand due to regulations passed by Federal Agencies to ensure accurate coding and billing by Physicians.
