Dear LEAs and Vendors,
AzEDS identified an issue for some users in the AzEDS REST API 4.0 related to posting Instructional Calendars.
Some LEAs were not able to submit Calendar Track Events causing the REST API to return an error code 401.
The AzEDS IT team resolved the issue and was able to validate that Calendar Track Events are successfully landing in AzEDS.
On 3/2/18, Development released a Bug fix to the following AzEDS Portal report:

AzEDS Integrity Rule -21006 states: “Student with a summer withdrawal has no year-end status from the prior year at the same school.”
- 21006 enhanced to check for students having an S-code as Exit withdrawal code will need have year-end status from the prior fiscal year.
The AzEDS Integrity reports (INTEG15, INTEG20, INTEG25) were experiencing issues
False Integrity was the symptom observed by some LEAs. We found the cause and it was corrected on 3/1/2018. The messages on the AzEDS Integrity reports including the INTEG15, INTEG20, and INTEG25 are now displaying as expected.
A bug causing absences to be counted twice (double counted) was corrected on November 17th.
A bug causing absences to be counted twice (double counted) has been identified. While the ADM15 Report is working as designed, it is displaying doubled absence counts due to a bug in the query. Nothing else is being affected by this bug.
The query code will be corrected as soon as possible. Once corrected, an update will be posted to this blog.
On 9/26/17, Development released changes to the following Integrity Rule(s): For a list of FY18 rule changes, please see FY18 Integrity Rules changes posted under “AzEDS Reference \ Integrity Rules \ Integrity Rules Reference”, here is a link for easy reference.
AzEDS Integrity Rule -10116 states: “The Track submitted for a student’s enrollment record must be for the school the student is attending (JTED, Private School, Public, or Charter) or the Track for the LEA under which the school resides (Private School,Public or Charter).” This rule is currently not working correctly in the AzEDS REST API 3.0. As a short term solution, JTED validations have been disabled for this rule until a long term solution is developed.
AzEDS Integrity Rule -20037 states: “This student was submitted with one of the Summer Withdrawal Codes which are being discontinued. The only code that will be accepted is S7.” This rule has now been disabled in AzEDS.
Update on 9/29/17: In order to ensure your data is collected for the November payment, this rule will be temporarily modified from an error to a warning. This will ultimately be reinstated as an error once the bug has been resolved.
Accountability AzEDS Integrity Rule 20023 states: “Date falls outside this school’s calendar.”
Development is researching the reason this rule is failing. We will be updating this post with any new information and an ETA for a resolution.
ADM will not be affected for those records submitted with summer withdrawal codes.
