Exchange Server Issue has been resolved 

Details

UPDATE: We have resolved the email server send/receive issues.
 
SITUATION: We have been experiencing issues with our email server.  Some users may not be able to send or receive email.  A high priority support ticket has been opened with Microsoft.
 
COMPLEXITIES:
We’ve had a number of inquiries regarding the mail service availability as of this afternoon, 7/20/2012. Please note that some users were able to send and receive mail, while others were not. 
 
CURRENT ACTIVITIES UNDERWAY:
While the issue has been resolved, we have opened a ticket with Microsoft Premier Help to fully investigate the root cause of the issue. Our objective is to implement additional preventative measure to ensure messaging services continue without disruption.  
 
Thank you for your cooperation while Microsoft Exchange service was being repaired.  Please take a moment to notify your external customers that service is restored – and be sure to thank them for their patience during the interruption.
